This privileged dive is located at a depth of 23 meters in the Calahonda Mijas Special Conservation Area. It is an area of ​​great environmental value belonging to the Natura 2000 network of the European Union and, according to a study by the University of Malaga, it concentrates the greatest biodiversity of the Alboran Sea.

The slab is more than two kilometers long, but the diving area is the one with the highest wall, reaching two meters in height. Meandering through entrances and projections, it forms caves where you will observe abundant organisms such as the appreciated cnidarians and sponges.

On both sides of the slab you can visit the largest forest of gorgonians on the seabed of the Costa del Sol, although it has been severely affected by the invasion of Asian seaweed.

On this dive you will also find sawfish, conger eels, moray eels, spider crabs and large schools of three-tailed and castanets.
