Snorkel

Laja del Almirante
Posidonia oceanica is a vital species in the Mediterranean due to its ability to mitigate climate change, maintain water clarity, and provide refuge and food for numerous marine organisms and species.
In the Torre de Calahonda area, the shallow depths allow you to contemplate this forest of seagrass meadows with an astonishing diversity of species. From wrasses to starfish, hermit crabs, squid, and schools of small fish.
If you keep an eye out, you'll see torpedo rays and mosaic rays glide elegantly between the meadows and areas of sand and rocks. The most experienced will discover small shrimp among the leaves of the Posidonia and, with luck, the most fascinating species: seahorses.
This dive is a testament to the richness and fragility of our waters. To preserve this unique ecosystem, it is essential that you follow responsible snorkeling protocols while enjoying the experience.
- Diving: From land
- Maximum depth: 3m
