Senda Azul

Los Roqueillos
This dive allows you to contemplate a curious phenomenon: nature has transformed a sunken breakwater, initially built to protect the beaches from the force of storms, into a rocky reef.
Ideal for those new to diving, it is easily accessible from the beach, with a maximum depth of just 7 meters. The dive invites you to explore the reef by following its contour to the right, from the entrance to the sea, until reaching its deepest point.
This underwater landscape is made up of enormous rocks that form a large submerged "T" that has become home to a wide variety of small benthic species. Among its slabs and nooks you can see a multitude of algae, sea urchins, starfish, and anemones. In addition to octopuses, sea breams, goatfish, mountain breams and damselfish.
And if you keep your eyes peeled, you can discover elusive and colorful nudibranchs.
